Humanity 3.0 - The Next Generation

History will take time to settle itself. It is only then that we will reflect and remember how optimistic and energized we were at the start of the 21st century. It is only then that we will speak of how our youth was defined by one of America's greatest contribution to the world - a leader in the world's image.

Barack Obama is a man created out of a need that the human family has.
He is not the final work by any means. He is a part of the long list of heroes, villains, destroyers and healers that we periodically create to express our human joy, discontent and fear.

This man is a symbol of our optimism and desire to recreate and regenerate ourselves. We will still consciously and unconsciously generate dark days and gray days. But for today we have created a long overdue bright day, by surprisingly, picking the sun from a mash-up cultural stew that reflects what we love, fear and hate about ourselves.

We will love him, fear him and hate him because we've made him. We've been making him for a long time (thank you world ancestors of all colours) and we are the generation blessed to see him awaken in our time. Welcome to Man 3.0 - the first worldwide human upgrade of the 21st century. The overhaul is not complete and cannot be judged as a success yet. We will have to wait and see how the new moral, intellectual, racial and cultural upgrades function. Do we have the necessary capacity to manage such a dramatic shift in our construction? Only each individual human being can answer this question via their daily lives and personal destinies.

It's our turn now.
